Summer School

Any student wishing to enroll in any of the options below must complete an Option 2 Form by June 2, 2025. Courses cannot be started while school is still in session.

Option 2 Information

Option 2 courses will not be approved for core classes that meet a state requirement OR for lab science courses. Math courses for advancement, though not recommended, will be permitted if proper protocol is followed.

Students may choose to use Educere for:

  • credit recovery
  • electives
  • and/or classes not offered through the Robbinsville High School Program of Studies.

Permission must be granted by the subject supervisor via the Option 2 process before students register for any online course. 

Advancing for Credit: Taking a course that you have never taken before:

Many students/families inquire about taking Personal Finance and Math Courses over the summer.

The approved Personal Finance Course is through Educere can be found here: Educere Personal Finance Link

The cost for this course is $249.50

Students must complete an Option 2 form, and receive approval prior to registering to take the course.

Information About Approved Providers for Math Courses where Students are looking to advance:

Students must talk with their school counselor and complete an Summer 2025 Course Advancement Approval Form prior to registering to take a course.

RHS Math Advancement Pathway Document: The Option II pathway for math is an intense, fast-paced summer option that allows approved students to complete a summer math course in order to advance academically. It is designed for extremely motivated, organized, and independent students who are willing to work hard and put in the extra effort over a few short weeks in the summer. All students pursuing the Option II pathway must complete the RHS Summer Course Advancement Approval form by the specified deadline. Students must earn a minimum grade of a 73% (C) or higher in the external course. Additionally, students are required to take the respective RHS final exam and earn a minimum passing grade of 83% (B) or higher in order to advance. Study guides will not be provided for Option II RHS final exams. Topic sheets and percentage breakdowns will be provided. No retakes will be permitted. The document shares which providers have been preapproved. 

Attendance Recovery:

Educere is an online summer school program for students who need to recover credit due to attendance. Registration for Educere must be completed by June 30, 2025. Please fill out the RHS Summer 2025 School Credit Recovery by June 23, 2025.

Summer School to Repeat a Course Due to Failure:

Students who need to repeat a course(s) due to failure can take a maximum of 2 courses with the following organizations:

Educere is an online summer school program for students who need to make up credit due to failure of a course. Registration for Educere must be completed by June 30, 2025.

Please fill out the RHS Summer 2025 School Credit Recovery by June 23, 2025.
