We welcome you to the RHS PTSA! Our PTSA strives to build a sense of community among our families, students and staff, and help support their school experience at RHS.
Some PTSA highlights are mentioned below. We couldn’t do any of this without you!
The RHS PTSA:
- Provides a welcome supply packet upon greeting Freshman & new students at orientation in August
- Awards scholarships to our graduates each year. We give Scholarships to qualified seniors - more than $60,000 has been gifted in Scholarships by the PTSA!
- Organizes and provides Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week each year in May, to share our gratitude for their continued hard work and dedication to our school community
- Coordinates RHS Spirit Wear options
- Hosts Handbag Bingo, our annual community wide fundraising event
- Hosts the annual Red Carpet pre-Prom event
- Funds the Post-Prom event, ensuring a substance-free, safe, and exciting continuation of the Prom celebration
- Provides personalized Senior Lawn Signs for our graduates and their families
- Participates in the Homefront holiday gift drive
- Funds student events such as the One Smart Cookie giveaway and the Sweet Summer Sendoff
- Promotes participation in the National PTA’s Reflections art program
- Provides all staff, Student Councils and members the opportunity to speak at our monthly meetings

Everyone is invited and encouraged to join the PTSA, which encompasses parents/guardians, teachers, and also students. We are a non-profit organization, and all funds raised go directly to support our programs for the students and staff. We hold our monthly meetings on Wednesdays at 7:30 pm via Zoom (details will be distributed via email/ParentSquare prior to each meeting). Attending keeps you more informed and, as a member, you have a vote in all PTSA decisions.
