Meet Ms. Avery
It is an honor and privilege to serve as the Principal of Robbinsville High School where I am proud to be a part of an established tradition of excellence. While we are very fortunate with an elite staff of educators, we pride ourselves on a student body comprised of individuals who exercise high achievement, determination, and pride.
In 1989 I earned a BS in Education from George Mason University. While pursuing my degree, I was a D1 Softball player for the Patriots. From 1989-1993 I called James Madison High School in Vienna, VA “home” serving as a Health & Physical Education teacher, an Athletic Trainer, and a coach. In 1993, I was an HPE teacher, coach, and eventually the Assistant Principal in the Pemberton Township school district.
My career journey then brought me to Robbinsville High School in 2007 where I have proudly worked as Principal for 14 years. I reflect on how exhilarating it has been to witness the many facets of our school's educational and social growth. We, as a faculty, hold our children to the highest of standards while guiding them through their formative years of high school with helping hands and open minds. It is part of our philosophy that parent/guardian involvement is imperative to the success of all learners. Please know my door is always open to constructive and meaningful collaboration for the best interest of all students.
GO RAVENS!
