Meet Mr. Brettell, Principal
Serving as Principal of Robbinsville High School is both an honor and a privilege. I am grateful for the opportunity to work alongside our outstanding students, dedicated staff, supportive families, and the entire Robbinsville community. I believe that a successful school is built on transparency, trust, open communication, and strong, positive relationships. Together, we are committed to creating an environment where every student feels valued, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential.
My career in education spans more than 26 years, including 18 years as a physics teacher and coach. I was proud to spend 13 of those years teaching at Robbinsville High School, where I developed a deep appreciation for our students, staff, and community. Throughout my time in Robbinsville, I have also had the privilege of serving as Athletic Director at Robbinsville High School and as Assistant Principal at both Pond Road Middle School and Robbinsville High School. These experiences have reinforced my belief that strong relationships, collaboration, and open communication are the foundation of a thriving school community and have strengthened my commitment to supporting the academic, social, and emotional success of every student.
I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics - Teaching from The College of New Jersey in 2000 and a Master of Arts degree in Educational Leadership from Rider University in 2016. As the parent of four school-aged children, I understand the importance of strong partnerships between schools and families. I am committed to leading with integrity, listening to our school community, and ensuring Robbinsville High School continues to be a place where all students are challenged, supported, and inspired to achieve their goals.
